Good morning and happy National Coffee Day. Can we get you a free cup of joe to start your day? If you're nodding your head from bed, stop hitting the snooze button: Dunkin' locations across the US are celebrating the food holiday by pouring gratis coffee all day long.
What do you have to do to cash in on a free medium cup of hot or iced java? There are some strings attached, so listen up. First, you'll need to make sure you're a DD Perks member – it's free to sign up and it only takes a few seconds to enter your information. (Plus, you get a complimentary drink for every $40 spent moving forward.)
You'll also need to make a purchase to redeem your free cup of coffee, but that's not terribly hard at Dunkin'. Toss in your favorite doughnut, a bagel or a bag of Snackin' Bacon (yes, that's a real menu item).
Guests can select from Dunkin's original blend, limited-batch coffees, 100% Guatemalan hot coffee or Midnight hot coffee. Nitro cold brew and cold brew drinks are off limits for this promotion.
