Time Out, the global media and leisure brand that helps people explore and experience the best of the city, announced today its first-ever #PrideWorldwide campaign. The initiative is in partnership with Global Pride, the only virtual event being curated and hosted by Pride organizations from around the world.

This June, Time Out is hosting a month-long #PrideWorldwide campaign showcasing the innovative ways local LGBTQ+ individuals and groups are continuing to keep their communities vibrant—from digital drag shows and virtual dinner parties to online clubs and parties. Throughout the month, LGBTQ+ content will be featured across all Time Out platforms globally. The lineup will include highlights of how urban LGBTQ+ communities are adapting to these unprecedented times, and how local community members are brilliantly keeping the spirit of Pride alive in their cities.

The celebratory month will conclude with Global Pride’s 24-hour live stream event uniting 1,500 Prides virtually and Time Out’s DIY #PrideWorldwide party, encouraging local audiences to tune into the live stream and celebrate wherever they are, on Saturday, June 27th.

Steve Taylor, Communications Director for Global Pride says: “We’re delighted that Time Out are partnering with Global Pride. Time Out’s global brand recognition and long-standing support for Pride and the LGBTI+ community makes them a perfect match, and we’re excited to see their #PrideWorldwide campaign develop in the run-up to Global Pride.”

Will Gleason, Time Out New York’s Editor says: "This Pride month, Time Out is celebrating LGBTQ+ communities in cities around the world with our first-ever #PrideWorldwide global campaign. We're shining a spotlight on the many ways LGBTQ+ cultural drivers are continuing to foster community, and are inviting our audience to join us in a D.I.Y. #PrideWorldwide celebration on Saturday, June 27. In that spirit, we're ecstatic to partner with Global Pride to amplify its worldwide message of love and acceptance. With most local prides canceled in the cities we cover, we can't wait to help bring thriving local LGBTQ+ culture to a worldwide stage.”
